One step from the disaster

Today i was teaching technology to a class from 11 years old to 14 years old children.
At a certain point i was really near to the disaster. I was making them to think about the way they could use to decide if a source of information is trustworthy or not.

The discussion was like:

Me: how can you decide if the TV is right or wrong?
Them: we can check on the Internet.
Me: and how can you decide if that specific website is right or wrong?
Them: We check on another website.
Me: and how can you decide if the other website is right or wrong?
Them: We will check on a book.
Me: And how can you decide if the book is right or wrong?
Them: We ask our parents.

At this specific time i really risked to make a terrible mistake, destroying their parents’ perfection. Just a second before saying the terrible sentence i figured out their parents killing myself on a giant campfire.

Me: Right! Ask your parents! … Lets talk about something else…

It’s a scandal they can adopt children

It’s a shame that we allow to a certain kind of people to adopt children.

The believe in:

Talking and burning bushes
bread, in some circumstances, it becames meat
eaing that meat is not cannibalism
telling what happens in their bedroom to a an old sexual-abstinent is a good thing
there are books written by sovrannatural entities
there are or there were pregnant virgins

They force their children to:

tell their secrets to an old sexual-abstinent
expecially those secrets related to masturbation
learn songs without any sense
learn stories about paranormal facts and to believe in them as they were true

So, while in the US they sto the adoption to an atheist couple, we allow this kind of people to adopt children. It’s a scandal.

3 important reasons to love William Shatner

This is not a necroblog, si i decided to talk about my favourite actor before it’s too late.

I won’t tell you about his bio or his career because you can find them somewhere else.
I only say: “My name is Danny Crane”.

First reason to love him is this great performance with Joe Jackson on a Pulp’s cover.

The second reason to adore him is this great scene from Star Trek. Maybe is the worst fight scene that a camera has made immortal.

But the third reason is this wonderful commercial he was in. Really great.
